Woman writing music at piano

Mariana Akolt is a composer, pianist, and educator whose work reflects a deep interest in expressive, descriptive music. Drawing inspiration from a wide range of musical traditions and rhythmic influences, her compositions are known for their evocative character and emotional depth. Her work has been featured at conferences and festivals both nationally and internationally.

As a teacher, Mariana is dedicated to helping students of all ages develop a meaningful and lasting connection to music. She believes that each student learns differently, and she tailors her instruction to support individual strengths, goals, and musical growth.

For children, her lessons provide a supportive and structured environment that fosters curiosity, confidence, and strong musical foundations. For adults, lessons focus on enjoyment, expression, and lifelong learning—whether beginning for the first time or returning to the piano after many years.

Her teaching approach combines solid technical training, mindful practice, and artistic expression in a calm and encouraging atmosphere.
